Mrs. Rosaria DeMaria Figliola

At Juravinski Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2015 after a brief illness, surrounded by her family, Rosaria Figliola joined her husband Giuseppe and son Frank in the comforting arms of our Lord. Grieving her loss are her children Michael and Joanne Figliola and Vince and Joanne D’Andrea. She was a loving Nonna to Joseph and Laura, Rosanne, Nicole (Tyler Iorio), Daniel (Megan Novak), and Bisnonna to Julia Jean Rose Figliola. Loving sister of Grazia DeMaria in Italy and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Antonio and Teresa Figliola of Hamilton. She will be dearly missed by her best friend Teresa D’Andrea, many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and neighbours. We will all miss the fruits of her labours in her giardino and flower garden, her reverence for family life, her enjoyment of simple pleasures such as cooking and baking for her family, and her uncompromising work ethic will not be forgotten. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 1-3 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers at 8:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 304 Hwy #8, on Thursday morning October 15, 2015 at 10 o’clock. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
