Passed away at her home, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age of 58. Dearly loved wife of James Jordan and step-mother of Rodney. Cherished sister of Jim and his wife Kathryn Gaebel. Sandra will also be dearly missed by her Aunt Marian Strauss as well as her cat Wilson. Predeceased by her parents Melville and Norma Jean. A long-time employee of The Optical Factory at the Centre Mall, she will always be fondly remembered by her colleagues and clients. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
