Sandra Elizabeth Penrose

Much loved wife of William for 58 years, loving Mother of Howard (Branka), Roger (Jennifer) and Heather (Jeffrey). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Nicholas, Alexandra, Victoria, Ian, Matthew and Marshall. Sister to James Bulbrook (Barbara) and Karen (Late Enrico). Sister-in-law to Dan (Late Susan) and Jerri (Maureen). Aunt to Vincent, Darren, Dana, and Shawn, Enrico and Mia. Longtime friend to Sue Vecero.

Sandra was born and raised in Hamilton, but after marriage in 1965, lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Toronto, Ontario, St. John’s, Newfoundland, Naperville, Illinois and Oro Valley, Arizona.

The family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. East, Hamilton (905-387-2111) on Thursday, January 18th starting at 10:00 a.m. with service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. The service will be Webcast for distant family, those who cannot be present or in case of surly weather. Link will be provided on Cresmount website.

William wants to extend his gratitude to the University of Arizona Cancer Clinic for the state of the art treatments that gave us four more precious years together, and Casa de la Luz Hospice (Tucson) whose skilled nurses made her last five weeks and her passing easier. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or American Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
