Sandra (Sandie) Jean Cormier

Peacefully on June 24, 2023, Sandra (Sandie) Jean Cormier at the tender age of 77, passed away after a lengthy illness. She is forever loved & remembered by family and many dear friends. Predeceased by her husband of almost 40 years Donald Cormier who passed away May 9, 2022; and survived by her cat Annie of 10 years who was her baby and loved so deeply. Sister-in-law of Helen & Richard MacCallum in Nova Scotia; Roy Cormier & Carol Stobbe in BC; Robert & Arvell Cormier in Alberta & Ernie Cormier in Ontario. Sister of brothers Bill and Jack Smallwood in BC. She is going to be deeply missed by eight nieces & nephews and fifteen great nieces & nephews all from Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and Hamilton areas. Sandie’s passion and love was her crocheting, and craft shows. She was a long time Hamilton Tiger Cats Fan. In her younger years, Sandie was a majorette of Betty Feist Hamilton Flashett’s which she attended an Expo (1967) and then attended the 1972 Hamilton Grey Cup for the Hamilton Tiger Cats! Sandie was also a part of a bowling league at Bowl-A-Dome (1970’s-1980’s) and did many tournaments. A special thank you to the Dr.’s and nursing staff at Juravinski Hospital for their care and support given. Much love & big thank you to friends, Liz, and Sandy for all your care and help given during this time. Also, a big thank you to her brother-in-law Ernie for as she mentioned many times, he is a tremendous help to her in this time of need.
