Passed away at Moira Place in Tweed, Ontario on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in her 92nd year. Stefania was born on May 13, 1921 in Ruda Pilczycka, Poland. Beloved wife of the late Feliks. Loving mother of Christopher, Andrew (Louise) and Zbigniew (Marnie). Cherished grandmother of Mark (Megan), Patrick, Katie, Joel and Haley. Dear sister of Mieczyslaw of Poland and predeceased by her other five siblings Szymon, Helena, Teresa, Jozefa, Zosia and her parents Kacper and Maria (nee Palka) Jakolska. She will be fondly remembered by one nephew and several nieces and other family in Poland. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church, 8 St. Ann Street, on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.
