fondly remember my early arrival to Hamilton and the parking lot visits form Stevie and Louie.  What a smile! I know he loved all his family.  god had other plans for you and now you are with his team and all your past family and friends.  keep sharing that heart,feisty way  and smile

Uncle Stevie,
When I think of you, it will always be with a big smile and love in my heart. 
You were always such fun to be around. Even though I was only little when we spent the most time together, I will always cherish those times and remember them so fondly. You were a jokster and I learned how to get into mischief with Grandma, from you! Whether it was making the phone ring on purpose or playing other pranks to make her get up from her game of solitaire to go and answer the door or the phone with no one there, or sending her into the kitchen to make us a snack, I loved being around you. As a child, I delighted in playing with you, watching TV with you, playing cards and checkers, playing dolls (which you did with no hesitation at all!) sewing your hankies into little unusable balls which you never complained about, or making you walk "up the hill" with me to George's to buy me chips and a pop, you were ALWAYS willing to spend time with me. As a young kid and even teenager, I would enjoy going to Grandma's for lunch and I always got something out of our talks about God, politics and the world and learned a lot from you. I will never forget the water fight we all had down on Tiffany Street and the time you rescued me from being locked in Grandma's bedroom.  You stood at the door for what felt like hours trying to explain how to unlock the door, always patient and loving in your approach even in the most frustrating situations that kids get themselves into. Even when I almost wrecked your car, you never got mad. As an adult, you always took an interest in me and my kids no matter how much time had passed since we'd seen each other. The smell of Ivory Soap, white tee shirts, eating smelts, the parking lot on John st. pocket change, and so many other little things that I recall about my childhood will remind me fondly of you. 
You were often shy and I loved that about you; as well as your commitment to traditions and family. You had an amazing way with children. I always adored you and always will. Thank you for being such a loving Uncle and really, a stand-in Grandpa to all of us kids and most of all, for helping to raise my Dad to be the man and father he is today.  You lived a great life and will live on in the hearts of so many. Rest in Peace, you have all the answers now and that is pretty awesome. Always with love, Carrie Ann

Uncle Steve - I will always cherish the memories I have of you. You were a man I personally respected and admired. Your family was always first in your life. Till we meet again.

When God wakes uncle Steve up, he will finally know the truth he was searching for.  He will feel the full scope and return of the love he showed his entire family all his life.  I will cherish the quiet time I was able to spend with him to make sure he knew how much he meant to me.

Uncle Steve miss you already you were such a wonderful uncle and because of you we had many happy Christmases  and  many holidays  that were blessed with you in our life.will love you forever .your loving niece Barb

He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.  May all the wonderful memories and photos you have of him get you through this difficult time.
