Teresa Bruni

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Teresa Bruni in her 86th year at St. Joseph’s Villa on November 13, 2016. Predeceased by her loving husband, Enzo (August 2016). Dear mother of Mark (Dana Walker), Paula, Diane Parisse (Sabatino), Philip (Mary), Rena Laufs (Armin), Craig (Lori), Eric (Michelle). Loving grandmother of Ian, April (Paolo), Simon, Caroline, Carmen (Jessica), Sarina, Colin (Jessica), Hannah, William, Alyssa (Qasim), Vincent, Nicholas, Tara, Nathaniel and Ryan. Great grandmother of Corbin, Saeeda and a third little one due in 2017. Survived by sister, Rita Nurnberg, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Beechy. Predeceased by her parents, Gertrude and Leo; siblings Norma (Rene), Helen (Curtis), Robert, Isabelle (Douglas), Jeanne (John); brothers-in-law, Frank, Reynold and Bruno; sister-in-law Bianca (Malcolm). Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Teresa loved doing things with her grandchildren, taking them on walks in the valley and bird watching. Gardening, knitting beautiful baby outfits, reading and chatting with everyone who passed by her house were favourite pastimes.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their outstanding compassion and care of their mother. A special thank you to Amanda and Vilma for their kindness and support in her final hours.

A private family service has taken place. Donations to St. Joseph’s Villa or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
