Loving wife to Robert W. Hickey (predeceased). Beloved mother and Lola to Robert (Colleen) and Nate. Tessie will also be deeply missed by her sister, Lulu Manzano (Mendel) and her nephews Matthew and Michael. Tessie had many friends and family throughout Canada, the U.S. and the Philippines that will miss her greatly. Tessie came to Canada from the Philippines in 1967 to work as a nurse. She worked as a neurological nurse at the General Hospital in Hamilton for over 30 years before retiring. Tessie was an active member of Annunciation of our Lord parish and leaves behind many friends in the community. Tessie was such a giving, thoughtful and cheerful person and was loved deeply by all who knew her. She will greatly missed.
Due to current gathering restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
