He was the husband of Sue, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. He was a proud father to his son, Ben (Yvonne), and daughter, Alex (Bob). Predeceased by his parents, Bohmer, Helen, father-in-law Harold, mother-in-law Violet, his sister Nancy, and brother-in-law’s Bill and Dave. Survived by his sister Gloria, brother-in-law’s Wayne (Sylvia). Mark (Bev), and Stephen (Laura).
Sports played a big role in his life. He was an avid baseball player, a dedicated Toronto Blue Jays fan, and a football enthusiast. He spent many years coaching children’s sports teams, generously giving his time and sharing his love of the game with countless young athletes.
He was well known for his quick wit and sense of humour, always trying to get a laugh from the people around him. His ability to connect with people and his story telling will be remembered by many.
He will be missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched but we find comfort in knowing he will be reunited with his beloved companion, Dobby.
Terry’s family wish to thank the staff and volunteers at McNally House Hospice for their compassionate care.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Terry's life at Ye Olde Squire, 550 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Monday, May 25, 2026 from 4 - 8 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to McNally House Hospice or the Hamilton Burlington SPCA would be appreciated by his family.
