

With dignity, surrounded by the love of his family after a valiant battle with cancer on December 26th, 2013 at the age of 62. Husband and best friend to Mary for 25 years. Proud and loving father to Amy and Jenny. Beloved son of Jackie and the late George McNutt and son-in-law of Theresa and the late Willis Reilly. Dear brother of Larry (Dena) and the late Kim Stanger and brother-in-law of Glen, Gary, Mark, Brenda (Tim), Arlene, Marina (Alex), Allison, Alma and the late Paul. He will be fondly remembered by all his extended family and many close friends near and far, especially in Nova Scotia and PEI. Terry was an avid back packer, camper and nature lover who loved to be by the water. A sports enthusiast, Terry and his 1972 National Champion, Hamilton Hurricane Football team were recently inducted into the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame. He was a longtime member of the Hamilton Hornet Rugby Club. After working 30 plus years in the steel industry, Terry found great pleasure in his new career with Canada Post as a rural route mail carrier. A heartfelt thank you to his many friends, neighbours and “Bros” who rallied around him with much care and support until his final hours. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Thursday January 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and the family welcomes and encourages all to celebrate his life on Friday January 3rd at 2 p.m. in the chapelfollowed by a reception held atYe Olde Squire Restaurant, 550 FennellAve. E.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
