Thelma Lillian Maskell

MASKELL, Thelma Peacefully passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on July 30, 2012. Loving wife of Ken for 65 years. Loving mother of Bryan, Elizabeth (Bruce), Patricia (Peter) and Sylvia (Steve). Nana to Paul, Sean, Laura, Ashley, Rob and Susan. Great-grandma to Karli-Rose, Austin, Drake, Josh, Riley, Colton and Jack Bryan. Survived by sisters Audrey, Muriel and Lois. Predeceased by her brothers Raymond, Fred and Lorne. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom and dad instilled the value of a strong family in us. She had a quiet strength that we will all deeply miss. Thelma dedicated her life to and supported volunteer work. She saw the importance of working together for everyone's benefit within the community. Special thanks to all of the staff of St. Peter's Hospital for their excellent care. Visitation for Thelma will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
