Theresa Margaret Bell

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Theresa on March 23, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer in her 87th year. Surrounded at home by her family and loved ones. Pre deceased by her husband James (1998) and lovingly remembered by her son and daughter, Douglas (Cathy) Bell, Kristine (Dennis) Chaston and special friend to Mike Johnson. Her devoted grand children Melissa (Chris), Terri-Lynn (Cole) , Maggie, Simon, Elizabeth, Nolan and Abigail, doting “ GIGI “ to McKenzie. Also survived by her beloved sister Eunice Michalsky, brothers Gregory, Bernard McNeil. Loving sister in law to Joan Weaver. Pre deceased by Edna LeBlanc and Marie Ratchford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who showed their love with their special visits. Anyone that knew Theresa was moved by the love and devotion she had toward her family. Special thanks to Home Nurse Victoria, CCAC, Bay Shore and St. Elizabeth’s for making it possible for mom to remain at home. A special thank you to Gregory, Bernardine, David and Shirley for all your love and support. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held at Corpus Chrisi Roman Catholic Church, 1694 Upper James St., on Thursday, March 27th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
