Peacefully, with family by his side, on Tuesday December 27, 2016, in his 94th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth (Betty, née Fairman) and son Richard (Rick). Tom will be sorely missed by his sons, Rob (with wife Gail) and Randy (with wife Beth), as well as by Rick's widow Val. He will be happily remembered by his nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, as well as by niece Margaret Vachal and nephew Patrick Howard and families. A World War II veteran, Tom was a lifelong employee of American Can. An avid outdoorsman and sportsman, amateur magician and enthusiastic gambler, Tom lived life his way. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family function will be held at a future date. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
