Our deepest condolences to the family on the loss of your mother.   She must have lived a good life to have reached the 102 mark.  Sad as it is to lose your mother, you were there all the time and I'm sure she appreciated you, for everything you did.  Know that we are thinking of you and all the family at this sad time. 💐

Vera loved deeply.  She was kind, generous, thoughtful and always willing to speak her mind.  When my brother, moved to the retirement home in which she lived, she took it upon herself ‘to look out for him’.   Whenever there was an opportunity to make someone else’s life a little bit better, she seized it.  She loved her Church and was connected to it right up to the end.  As one of her former ministers, I regret that due to dental surgery, I won’t be able to attend the service celebrating her life.  My wife and I extend our heartfelt condolences to her family.

and will be missed by everyone.

Sadly due to the extreme weather conditions in our area we will be
unable to attend aunt Vera's service.

I will miss that firecracker! She was always loaded up with some zingers.

I feel so incredibly blessed to have known Vera even if it was just for a couple of years. She was one in a million. 
I met her when I started my job at Caroline Place in Dec 2022.  She was the most endearing character. I loved listening to her stories and was completely engaged in the conversations we had. 
Vera would sit where she could see all the comings and goings.
I loved when I would arrive to work and she would see me come thru the front door and call my name. She always knew my name but I especially loved when she called me "Pretty ".
I appreciated her company so much while I went about my chores at work. 
Once she asked me to make her a grilled cheese to which I was very happy to oblige. She loved it and crowned me the Grilled cheese queen. She bragged about it telling everyone about the most amazing grilled cheese I made for her with the cheese oozing out!
Vera was very special to me on so many levels. She was feisty and at times an instigator.....it was truly amazing to simply watch her in action. She was warm, inspiring,  humorous,  witty and genuinely beautiful.  The world has lost a firecracker.
I love you Vera and you will always be in my heart and thoughts.  God Bless you.
