It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother in her 89th year. Mom passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill of 65 years. Cherished mother of Ron (Marilyn), Bob (Darlene), Randy (Melanie), Larry (Deb) and Bill (Crystal). Will also be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren and their spouses, and 15 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the UPPER JAMES CHAPEL of Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Verna's life will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Special thanks to Dr. Schabort and Dr. Craigie and palliative care nurses Grace, Dorothy and Carmine. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
