Verna Florence Walsh

Verna is predeceased by her beloved husband Wallace. Dearly loved mother of Cheryl Hale (late Greg), Bill, Karen Meredith (Brad), Donna Boyes (Ralph), Janice Campbell (Ian), Doug (Karen) and Alan (Donna). Adored grandmother of Jason (Pam), Scott (Angie), Josh, Kayla (Julian), Jennifer (Drew), Lindsay, Katrina (Mike), Gregory (Alexandria), Sam, Jack and Meredith. Fondly remembered by great-grandchildren Aria, Michael, Alanna, Amelia, Liam, Charlie and Wells. Dear sister of Betty Cutting (late Skip). Predeceased by her sister Helen Doyle, brothers Thomas, Mel and Duke McKenna. In keeping with moms wishes cremation has taken place. Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Douglass, Bayshore nurses and St Peters nurses for the wonderful care mom received.

Miss Me But Let Me Go When

I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, miss me-but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, and each must go alone. It's all part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know. And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, miss me but let me go.
