Passed peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, February 18, 2011 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife of fifty-two years Alfreda (1999). Father of Ryszard (Veronica), Ed (Christine), David (Lucy), Walter (Pilar), Joseph, and Chester (Charlene). Grandfather of Richard, Daniel, Karen, Theodore, Luke, Jessica, Janel, Jack Tadeusz, Mitchell, Stephanie and Jake. Great-grandfather of Daniel, Amy, and Carlie. Also survived by sister-in-law Judy, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Joe. Walter retired from Ford Canada in 1990. Friends may call at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Funeral service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. following visitation. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
