Passed away peacefully at the Juravinksi Hospital on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in his 79th year. Loving father to Jeff, Kerrie (Mike), and Debbie, brother of Robert (Pat). Predeceased by his sister Edna. Grandpa to five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Loving companion for 18 years to Lucy Mousseau and her children Jessie, Robert, David (Karen), Michael, and Christine (Jeff). Known as Grandpa Bill to his grandchildren. Bill was an employee at PPG Canada Incorporated for 30 years. Special thank you to Dr. Juriansz and nursing staff at Heritage Green Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Visitation will take place at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (1774 King Street East, Hamilton) on Friday, April 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreicated by the family.
