Jack was born June 1936 in Tarrytown, NY.
Jack was a CBS Senior Producer retiring after 37 years. He traveled the world covering the most consequential news events earning him three Emmy Awards. He and his wife Barbara moved to Wilmington, NC after retirement and enjoyed golf, tennis, rafting, making new friends, spending time with family and traveling. He was loved by many.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Kelly; three daughters, Heather and Greg Taylor from NJ, Beth and Mike Lwin who live in VA, and Krista and Frank Wyrostek from NJ; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Burns of Pennsylvania; a brother, Terry and Ce Kelly of New York.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at All Saints Catholic Church in Hampstead, NC.
