Alexis Rae Beauvais, left this life on July 30, 2011, embraced by her parents and surrounded by her extended family. Although she was with us for only a brief moment in time, Alexis touched the lives of all of her family and friends.
Alexis is survived by her parents, William “Bill” and Stephanie Lynn Beauvais; sister, Brianna Nicole Beauvais; grandparents, Patricia and Steven Smith, Janie and Greg Woodard, and Jarvis and Janet Edwards; great-grandparents, Robert Keller, Jack and Joyce Edwards, and Jeanette Thomas; aunts, Jennifer Edwards, Caitlin Edwards, Jennifer and Jeffrey Eggleston, and Janet and Troy Cooper; great-aunts and uncles, Carol Gibbs, Cheryl Sallese, Robert Baker, James Baker, Kelly and John Thomas, Cindy and Kerwin Madison, Billy and Jeanann Hinnant, Jackie and Delvin Croom, Elizabeth and Robin Felkel, Kelvin Edwards, and Jan and Brent Thomas; and cousins, Joy and Scott Judy and children, Emily and Olivia, Robert and Kristin Purnell and children, Katherine and Jack, Kim Felkel, Darryl Felkel, Luke and John Edwards, Amanda and Jon Drommerhausen, Christopher and Kimberly Thomas, Kira Madison, Daulton Cooper, Michael Morgan, Ryan Thompson, Nick and Nate Hinnant, and Andrew Gibbs.
A celebration of Alexis' life will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at 2 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
