He was preceded in death by his parents, Lafayette Partin and Ethel Roach Partin; brothers, Floyd, Johnny, and Billy; his sisters, Jewell, Pearl, Ruby, Katheleen, and Shirley Ann Franks; son, Wesley Partin.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Joyce B. Partin; daughters, Barbara Newman (Paul), Debra Winn (Gary), Tammy Byrum (Dennis), and Katie Partin (Wesley); Grandchildren, Justin Newman, Amanda Newman, Anthony Joines, and Adam Byrum; Great Grandchildren, Miranda Newman, Jacksyn Newman, Wilder Curry, Lilly Curry, Clara Joines, Emma Joines, Anna Joines, and Grant Partin; and sister, Barbara Reed.
The family will receive friends, on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 1:00PM for a Public visitation, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave. Hampton, Virginia. 23666. Followed by a Celebration of Life funeral service at 2:00PM, officiated by Rev. Ben Barrow. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
