Clarence was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hampton. He was a graduate of Auburn University. Clarence was also a Veteran who served in the Army Air Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant during World War II. After his military career Clarence worked for 40 years with NASA as an Aerospace Engineer.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Willie Mae Jones Brown and son, Steven. Along with his parents, Clarence is predeceased by sisters, Mary Ruth and Gladys.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Clarence's life will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Queen Street, Hampton, VA 23669. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
