Clint Wisner

Clinton Wheeler Wisner Jr. passed away on February 14, 2026 Valentines day , at the age of 96. He was born on November 11, 1929 Veterans Day. Clinton Wheeler Wisner Jr. was a resident of Hampton, Virginia.

The funeral will be officiated by the Rev. Lamar Slade pastor of Newmarket Baptist Church in Newport News, VA. His casket will be covered by the American flag and open for viewing and an Honor Guard will play taps at his entombment.

His second wife Helen B. Wisner (nee Mitchell) predeceased Clint in 2012 after 27 years of marriage. He is survived by eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Clint enlisted in the United States Air Force with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in March 1952 and was Honorably discharged as a Captain in April 1956. He earned certificates as a fighter pilot, commercial pilot, purchasing & contracting officer as well as 3 service medals during his time of service in the Korean War.

Light refreshments will be available during the visitation time and after the pastor's message anyone who would like to share their thoughts or memories of Clint will be welcome to do so.

I'm sure that Clint would say a sincere "Thank you" to everyone who was able to attend and to all who shared their condolences with his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 20, 2026 from 1:30 to 2:00 PM followed immediately but a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM. All services will take place at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA 23666.
