Debbie Lynn Gunter

Debbie was born and raised in NC and moved to Hampton, VA 36 years ago with her husband Ronald Gunter. Debbie was a homemaker for many years and joyfully cared for her husband and two children. She also homeschooled her children for some of their school age years. She also ran the family business from home together with her husband Ronald. Later, Debbie began her career in hospital administration and enjoyed helping patients for many years.

She was truly a loving, caring, and joyful woman who loved the Lord. Her husband always said, "She was a woman after God's own heart." She was a nurturing and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved everyone and treated everyone she met with kindness. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be truly missed.

She was predeceased by her mother Sylvia Coley, her sister Roxanne Maddry, and her step father Jim Coley.

She leaves behind her father Leon Fowler (Dee), four brothers, Brian Fowler, Chris Coley, Anthony Coley, and Jimmy Dale Coley (Tracy), three sisters, Amanda Fowler, Dianna Currin (Phillip), and Lisa Coley, husband Ronald Gunter, two children, Jennifer Baker (Kris) and Greg Gunter, six grandchildren, Christian, Joshua, Cole, Brantley, Easton, and Asher, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday November 22, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home 2551 N. Armistead Ave Hampton, VA 23666.
