Donald served honorably as a Recruiter in the U.S. Army and retired as MSGT in 1992 after 35 years of service. He received many military honors and was a member of the Masonic Temple.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Ray C. and Juanita S. Glover. He is survived by his children, Deborah G. Rowland and husband, Ralph, Donna Y. Nunnally and husband, Roger, and Donald S. Glover, Jr. and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Alaison G. Cornell, Bryan D. Glover, Ray W. Nunnally, and Kari A. Nunnally; brothers, William Glover and wife, Betty, and James Glover and wife, Linda.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Donald's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
