Our thoughts and prayers our with the Mohorn family Donny will be missed and was loved Tommy lived with Donny for a long time and they were close friends i know Tommy misses him

Donny was a friend of ours we enjoyed hanging out cooking fish riding bikes drinking a few beers and as for our pets he love my daughters dog tiny bit he would sit with her in his lap for. Hours just petting her as for our bird chloe it was a love hate relationship she love to bite he and he hated it. Donny was )oved by all that knew him he had a big heart and he will be missed

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

Although in the last few years I had only spoken to "Mo" a few times, hearing him say hello with that distinctive voice of his always would bring a smile to my face and hearing that funny laugh would bring back memories of Mallory School and all the Bethel Park gang. 
Knowing Donnies not here with us seems to make the world feel quieter, sadder and not quite as bright. He was a special person who always made you feel like if your at my house your at home.
Always a friend no matter how long it may have been since you last spoke. He'd always say " Vannnnn Liew how the hell you doing?" Just like we had last talked a few days before. I think Donnie made everyone feel that way and that is a special indeed! 
Mrs. Mohorn and Family may God carry and comfort  you through this sad time.

To the Mohorn Family...we were so very sad to hear of this tragedy.  We have also known Donnie many, many years, having grown up in Bethel Park.  In his earlier years, Donnie was mainly friends with my younger brother, Marc Banks, and we saw him often as a kid. Then Donnie worked with my brother-in-law, Chris Linkous, for many, many years building beautiful homes.  Donnie was a friend of both the Banks and Linkous families.  My brother-in-law, Chris, passed away last year, so  maybe he and Donnie are together again, building beautiful mansions in Heaven! We will always have many fond memories of Donnie and the Mohorn family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. What do you say when something like this unexpectedly happens? It saddens me because he had so much more life to live......i have alot of fond memories and i just want to say that my prayers are with the family in this difficult time. Rest in peace old friend.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  This was so unexpected and shocking, my heart goes out to you both.  May he Rest In Peace and his memory be eternal.

  My prayers are with all of the family. Donnie was a very good, trusted friend many years ago. His mother and father treated me just like family when I was growing up just 2 homes down from TP & Ms. Imogene, Dathan and  Tasker on Driftwood Drive.

I grew to know Donnie during my teenage years thru my brothers, but then personally on my own a few years later.
During my high school years, I occasionally would drop by his parents' house when he lived in their back bedroom addition, albeit unexpectedly, but he always
had an open door. He was so very easy-going, it usually started out by choosing an album to play from his broad collection and then we'd shoot the breeze,
talking and laughing about whatever came to mind, and many times the conversation revolved around music, what we liked or something playing he would strum along with.
As well, In the neighborhood, the local schoolhouse was a place where many would hang out and some, including him, would be there playing acoustic guitars together
and it was such a great way to escape watching and listening him and the others jam  he was a very good guitarist, and many times would share with others a trick or two he learned.
I remember he also was into skateboarding at that time and was good at that also.
As a Carpenter, Donnie was well respected as one of the Best there is  during my few years in the field, I learned more from working with him, than anyone else I was ever around.
His approach to working with others and his laid back demeanor all helped in making it easy to follow and retain his instructions.
But If you didn't get it the 1st time he was quick with a laugh or movie quote to lighten the mood (What we have here.is a failure. to communicate) and then he'd help again.
often his group motivation for something more manual began with the phrase K'mon before lifting a framed wall or other hard work  and you better be ready to roll.
Being a Carpenter since a young teenager, it's no stretch to say, that Donnie was probably involved in building many of the local housing developments in the last 40 years.
All in all, knowing Donnie, both personally and professionally was a bright spot filled with his likable personality, love of music, quick laughter and well-rounded wisdom.
I can still picture him breaking out laughing, always emphasizing the 1st HA. the loudest  he was a guy you enjoyed making laugh and he'd reciprocate.
As far as growing up in Bethel Park goes, he is another fixture of it in many of all of our memories that will never be forgotten. - Rest in Peace!

Donnie Mohorn was in my life for 57 years. To know Donnie is a true blessing.He was my beautiful brother.We grew up living right next door to each other since birth.We had a pretend wedding when we were about 7.We still laugh about it.My heart hurts for his mother Emogene and brother Tasker.Donnie I pray I join you on the other side-your heart is so good AMEN

Donny was a beautiful person. He was a very giving person  always smiling and friendly to every one   He will be missed by many.
