

He was a native of Rocky Mount, NC and a resident of Hampton, VA for the past 42 years. Hubert worked as a mail carrier for the USPS where he retired after 32 years of service. He was known for being a part of the American Bowling Congress, the United States Bowling Congress, and the Hampton Roads Bowling Association.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Hart Jr. and Mable Lee Harrison Hart; and his first wife, Juanita Grant Hart (married February 1967 - May 1969). Hubert is survived by his two daughters, Yolanda R. Kendall (Tony) of Augusta, GA and Niki S. Hart-Arrington (Johnny) of Elm City, NC; ex-wife, Ruby Lee Hart of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Barbara J. Hart of Brooklyn, NY and June K. Hart of Nashville, NC; brothers, William A. Hart Sr. of Fredericksburg, VA, Stephen H. Hart (Gloria) of Rocky Mount, NC, and Bronchie D. Hart (Brenda) of Wilson, NC; aunt, Ruth Harrison McKay-Mays (Tony) of Hampton, VA; uncles, Thomas Harrison (Minnie) of Hampton, VA and Marvin Harrison (Gloria) of Charlotte, NC; sister-n-law, Frankie G. Archibald of New York, NY; grandchildren, Dorian Kendall of Marietta, GA, DeMyron and D’Angelo Kendall both of Augusta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a very special, longtime companion & treasured family friend, Lucretia Clayton of Hampton, VA.
A Memorial Service will be held at H.D. Pope Funeral Home, 325 Nash St., Rocky Mount, NC 27801 at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 and will be broadcast on the funeral home’s website.
