I knew Nola from the gym.  A dynamic woman  for sure.  We still miss her and pray that heaven has a new angel.

How blessed I am to have know you and been participant of your exercise program for so many years. How grateful and comforted I am for those many times we have prayed together, for your willingness to pray and give God the glory for His goodness, and seek Jesus for His grace and wisdom. I know you are with Him and in Fullness of Joy in His presence. 
Family and friends, prayers for great comfort and peace, and even joy in those special moments of remembrance. Nola overflowed with Joy, and now she is encompassed in Joy.

I will miss her beautiful smile and energetic personality at the fitness center.

Nola was one of my favorite trainers at the fitness center. She was a dedicated trainer with a great sense of humor. My sympathy goes out to her  entire family and friends. May you take comfort in the promise of the resurrection ( John  5:28).

     Gimmy and I were so sad after hearing of Inola's passing.  You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.

She always had a kind word to say and her beautiful smile made you always feel at ease. I loved having her in class when I taught and now the world is a little bit dimmer with her not in it. I am glad though my life was blessed and better for having her in it. Truly an angel on earth. 

I am saddened by Nola’s passing.  She was certainly one of the most fit people I knew.  Rest in Heavenly Peace my friend.

On Sept. 2,2020 we lost a dear friend and teacher. I joined Sentara and the Y to get healthy  and fit. and during this journey I met Nola who helped me in so many ways. When I work out now I remember to hold in my core and know that when I think I don't have one more rep I push a little harder to get that last one in. I will always think and be thankful to have meet and spent time in her classes. RIP my friend you are already missed. Prayers for the family

Momma G!  You hear so many stories about people not getting along with their mother in-laws.  I am so happy to be able to say that was not our testimony.  You loved me like a daughter   in word and indeed.  When I became a foster mom, you there to help me.  When I fell sick, you and Nina would bring me natural remedies to help  me get over my cold.  When i held events for my business, you were there to support me.  You always encouraged me and it meant the world to me.  You were THE BEST mother in-law, my forever Momma G!  Thank you for being a living example of what it means to be light and salt on the earth.  Heaven gained a priceless jewel when GOD called you home.

I love you so much! It is so hard to bear the weight of your loss. I will miss talking to you, shopping with you, cooking with you and making plans for when we get rich! You were my biggest cheerleader and best friend. Please don't let God forget about me and all the ones who loved you. The void you left will be impossible to fill. But I know He is the God of all and nothing is truly impossible for Him.

What an amazing woman of strength and love! She will be deeply missed and we will always remember her vibrant and beautiful personality.  Rest in paradise sweet Angel.

May God give you strength at this time of great sorrow. I hope it gives you, her family and loved ones, some consolation to know that Nola was such an inspiration to all who knew her.   She befriended me first with her frequent hugs, which she gave as freely as her prayers to all who needed them.  She prayed with me and for me on countless occasions and I felt her strength always. Hi Bro. Garrett and Family, I am so very sorry to learn of Sis. Inola's passing.  I was always so happy to spend a few moments of laughter and conversation with her whenever we got together at Faith, or one of our events.  Sis. Inola was always so vibrant and full of life and I thank God for allowing our lives to cross paths.   I mourn and celebrate this magnificent Woman of God.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Shocking! She was too sweet! She will be missed for whatever time is allotted to we who remain. Then we shall be reunited with the rest of the family that has fallen asleep in Christ. With this we are very comforted and hope others are as well.

I cried when you passed away, I still cry today.  Even though I loved you dearly, I couldn't make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating,  your workouts at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me he took one of the best. Time slips by and life goes on, but from my heart you're never gone. I think about you always, I talk about you too, I have sooo many memories,  I just wish I still had you!

I join the YMCA in 2018 and meet a jewel name Nola. I was in her water aerobics and senior strength class great instructor   Nola love calling me out ( in love) in her classes because I would complain about everything 😊. She will be dearly miss by the people who attended her classes. Rest in power my dear, and don't workout the angels to hard😍

 Nola was amazing, delightful, quick witted, kind, inclusive, thoughtful and energetic topped off with a smile that was all that and more... Our Nola  was priceless  and a blessing to me and others.  I am praying now and will be praying for comfort for your family. Peace be with the family.

I joined the Y a couple of years ago after what could have been a life altering surgery. My very first day this angel befriended me. We clicked right away!! She was so positive and encouraging me to do more when I did not think I could, she knew better. I will always remember my friend Nola. She would light up any class she entered.                           Rest my Friend, my personal Angel! You will never be forgotten.

Nola will be missed greatly.  in our exercise class she inspired us to do our best, always with a smile on her face.  Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

Nola taught my moms exercise classes for more than a decade, and I had the pleasure of joining in for the last few years. 
Nola was a role model —in fitness and in faith. Her vivacity and joy shone through every minute. Her strength - physical, emotional, and spiritual - lifted me every time  I saw her. 
She blessed so many people — so she will be missed by many as well.
