

Jackie Eugene “Jack” Roberts, 87, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully in his home on December 7, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on December 19, 1937, he was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Louise Roberts.
Jack proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty, discipline and dedication. Later, he had a long career as a construction superintendent over several decades, working on commercial, residential and government projects. He loved watching NASCAR, Formula One, and football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annette (“Jo”) Roberts, with whom he built a lifetime of partnership, laughter and unwavering love. Together they built a family that remained the center of Jack’s world. He is also survived by his children Robyn (David) Christner, Jack Roberts II and Leslie (Scott) Booth; and by his beloved grandchildren John Balderston, Alex Booth and Brittany Booth, each of whom brought him tremendous pride and joy.
He is also survived by his sister, Carol Jo Boner; his nephew Christopher Jason (Jessie) Boner; and his beloved beagle Jasper, who was rarely more than a few steps away from Jack and brought him comfort and companionship every day.
Jack was known for his sharp wit and outgoing personality, and valued hard work, loyalty and family above all else. His family will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
