Jean was preceded in rest by her husband, Gilroy E. Lewis, daughter, Monica Godfrey-Lewis, parents, Marcello Casasola and Chriselda Young; and brother, Gilbert Casasola. She is survived by her sons, Gilroy E. Lewis, Jr., Patrick T. Lewis, Sr., and Richard C. Lewis; daughters, Anna Menzies-Lewis and Christine I. Lewis; 13 grandchildren, Ninfa Palmer, Shayne Godfrey, Edward, Gilroy III and Bryttani Lewis, Eddie, Andrew and Daniel Menzies, Michelle Lewis, Melissa Classen-Lewis and Patrick Lewis II, and Ashley Lewis and Kyle Lewis; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Peninsula Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with entombment to immediately follow.
