Jerry spent his early years with Northrop Grumman as a linesman. He was an avid beach goer and loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered by his contagious smile and amazing sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy; children, Nicole (Jonathan), and Ashley (Brian); grandchildren, Eric, RJ, Makenzy, Nikolas and Jacob; special “son” Jeffrey; siblings, Beverly, Donna, Francis, Sandy (Wanda); nieces, nephews, and special childhood friend Donnie.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nova; father Melvin; and brothers, Raymond, Dickie, Larry and Bobby.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home located at 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
