I truely appreciate all of the wonderful, kind words expressed about my mom. She was the kindest most loving person to all. I miss her deeply and my life will be so lonely without her. I look forward to the day that I see her beautiful face again. I love my mom with all of my heart.

I am so sorry and sadden to see this in the paper today.  I worked with Joyce at GE Capital for 6 years and remember her well. I often thought about her but only saw her once since leaving GE in 1997.  She was a special person.  God bless you all.

Dear Jack, Jay, Jackie and Jan.
As you already know, Mrs. Dobson (Joyce) will always be very dear to my heart and a large part of the "second" family I have in you all. I always enjoyed hearing her voice, in person or on the phone, whether sharing a laugh or telling me something I might not have wanted to hear at the time. She goes farther back in my memories then most anyone in my life besides my own family. As a young boy hanging out with Jay I learned quick that you couldn't pull anything over on Her - the more we tried, the more we learned we couldn't. As I got older, as much as I enjoy Jack's mentorship the bonus to that was a Hug from Joyce (who could also share her own words of wisdom). She made me feel so at home and always welcome and I will miss her as a "2nd mother". I only hope that by carrying the love and memories of her in your hearts it will help comfort you all (as it will for me) knowing that although she is absent in body, she is present with the Lord. I am so glad that Debbie got to know her over the years as well. More of today's neighborhoods need people like Joyce (and her family) in it. Rest in Peace Dear Lady.

l will never forget her treating me like her own son when I met her actual son Jay in  the Navy.  I had so many good times being out in the country at their house just cooking out, playing volleyball or whatever. I will always cherish those memories.

Joyce was an amazing lady, neighbor, friend. She always made me feel loved and made me laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband and Three children. She always loved family time. I will miss her.

Although I only got to speak with her a few times in person and on the phone, you could quickly gather she was a pleasant person who loved and cared for her family.
