Kathey Shelton, of Newport News, left this world on Saturday, December 7, 2013, to join her husband, Jeff, her mother and father, Mary and Cecil Hickman, and her sister, Peggy Hallet, at the big after party.
Kathey’s life was a celebration to the fullest extent. She enjoyed planning and preparing gatherings with her children, siblings, nieces, nephews, and treasured friends. Her other favorite pastimes included reading, experiencing nature, attending concerts and wine tastings.
Kathey brought joy and happiness to all those that touched her life. Her kind spirit, big heart, and crazy laugh will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Those that wish to join her family in celebrating her life may gather with them at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2013.
