Kenneth Charles Dail Jr.

Kenneth Charles Dail, Jr., 58, of Hampton passed away on August 7, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The loss of his life was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Kenneth was born on January 27, 1965 to Kenneth C. (Charles) and Dian Dail. He worked in the construction industry as a pipefitter for 34 years and spent the last 15 years working for Newport News Industrial Corp. in Newport News, VA.

Among many things, Ken was a huge soccer fan, loved fishing, maintaining a healthy body, and bicycling. He recently moved to the Grandview area of Hampton and was very excited to be remodeling his home. Since moving to Grandview, Ken took great pleasure in watching the sunrise most mornings before heading to work.

Kenneth was predeceased by his mother, Dian Dail. He is survived by his father, Kenneth C. Dail, Sr.; brother, Russell Dail; daughters, Julie Ann Dail and Casey Dail; sons, Tanner Dail and Ethan Dail; grandson, Ryland Healy; and his beloved cats, Enzo and Captain.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life held in Kenneth’s honor. We request all of Ken’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Avenue Hampton, VA 23666.
