Lucette Barts

Lucette F. Barts, was born in Laon, France on April 7, 1943 and passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 79. She was a loving mother of three, a grandmother of six, and great grandmother of three. All of whom she adored. Lucette was born and raised in France and went to college studying to be a midwife. During that time, she became a United States military wife and a mother, so she decided to stay home and raise her kids and take care of her family, as a homemaker. Her favorite passion was gardening, home decorating, and spending time with family. She is truly loved and will be missed by her family, friends, and all of those that knew her Lucette is survived by her three children, Byron Langley, Diane Crute, and Tanissia Barts Atwell; Her grandchildren, Dakota Langley, Miranda Bolton, Hunter Langley, Chase Langley, Amber Tilley, and Trevor Stark; Her great grandchildren, Levi Bolton, Elysia Bolton, and Carson Langley; Her siblings, Jean Pierre Senepart, Yvette Senepart, and Nicole Senepart; Including her extended family; son-in-law, David Crute; step grandson, Taylor Crute; also by many more beloved family members from France and from her husband Leonard's side of the family in Wisconsin. Lucette is preceded in death by her father, Gustave Senepart; mother, Jeanette Quelin Senepart; sister, Marie Senepart; and husband Leonard Barts. It is goodbye for now, but in the Lord's name, we will meet again. We love you! The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on August 20, 2022 at Bethany United Methodist Church by Pastor Cannon. Address 1509 Todds Lane, Hampton, Virginia, 23666. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Leonard Barts at Parklawn-Wood Home and Memorial Park at 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia, 23666 immediately following the service.
