Luke and my son were childhood friends and remained so throughout elementary and high school.  Their paths diverged after school with Luke joining the Navy and my son moving to PA.  They eventually reconnected via Facebook.  I had a chance encounter with Luke at the Grafton Post Office a couple of years ago and he visited at my home and I visited him at his then residence.  Unfortunately, contact was again broken and I knew not how to find him.  My wife and I remember him fondly from the childhood through the teen years and we were both heartbroken to hear of his passing at such a young age.  He will be missed.

RIP. We haven't talked in a long time, but I remember when we met one crazy night over twenty years ago!

R.I.P Luke. You will be missed dearly. Fly high. You were an amazing family friend. Tell Gage I said hello when you see him. I'll see you again one day.

There are so many things that I wish I had the chance to tell you...You have been such an amazing part of the my life and all that knew you, we are better for it. I still can't believe this is real, you were everybody's captain invincible! I will greatly miss our talks, antics, and especially listening to you play your guitar and the songs you used to sing to me. Luke, I'm still in disbelief & I don't want to accept that you are gone. You truly have a beautiful soul & I'm so blessed that you came into my life through your brother Skoob. I will always remember the great times we all had together when you lived with us, I'll remember you carrying Morgan to the hospital in 105 degrees when she was sick, I'll remember your contagious laugh and how you could always look on the bright side & put a smile on my face. I loved listening to you play the guitar & sing...watching you play with the kids & teaching them to skateboard...the Love & genuine kindness you showed to Everyone. You have so much adopted family because everyone you met, you treated like fam... I know that you are in Paradise now, playing tunes, carrying on & laughing...with your beloved Gage & other brothers & sisters...no worries, no pain...just a beautiful soul watching over us all. I'm so thankful that you were in my mine & kids' lives and you will never be forgotten...until we meet again bro. Love you Luke

Brother Luke,  I am still in disbelief...you have gone on...I know that you are at peace now. The best family sometimes is the friends you hold most dear and close. this is you! I will miss you.  I will miss taking you to dinner at the steak house just before Christmas,  Rushing you to the ER, visiting you to many times in the hospital for crazy stuff.  Getting my ink done, giving you a massage.  Just chillin and chatting even if it was facebook or text most times.  You had a heart of GOLD baby bro and you taught me so much more than I could have ever put into words.  I love you.  Miss you and will see you when I get up there.  peace be with you.
