Mildred Pauline Bennett

Mildred Bennett, 92, passed away on November 2, 2018. She was a native of Caroleen, North Carolina and a resident of Hampton, Virginia for 56 years. Mildred was a secretary for Madia Development Co. for five years. She was an avid golfer and a three year club champion at the Woodlands Golf Course. Mildred also enjoyed bowling and was a major supporter of the S.P.C.A. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, John Bennett; sons, Kenny Cunningham (Pam) of Hampton, Virginia, and Jeff Cunningham (Sandra) of Newport News, Virginia; grandchildren, Matthew Cunningham (Amy) of Newport News, Virginia, and Aaron Cunningham (Michelle) of Newport News, Virginia; great-granddaughter, Lillian Cunningham; and sister, Vera Gamble of Charlotte, North Carolina. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton.
