Patricia grew up in Abington and spent many summers in Avalon, New Jersey. She loved the beach and especially valued time on her father’s boat with her close friend, Marlene Stawecki. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Temple University and began her career as a teacher.
She later worked in recruiting and was known as a top recruiter and headhunter, including her work with Carol Maden. Patricia was previously married to Linwood Fridley; they later divorced, and she did not remarry.

She is survived by her three children, Michelle Bachus (Bruce Bachus), Robert Fridley, and Alexandra Pearsaul (Edward Pearsaul); five grandchildren, Kristan Scott, Brittany Stanton, Joshua Pearsaul, Matthew Pearsaul, and Victoria Pearsaul; and four great-grandchildren, Olivia Collins, Madison Collins, Hunter Walsh, and Blake Stanton.
Patricia cared deeply about her family and took pride in supporting her children and grandchildren. She was active in the swimming community, as all three of her children swam, and she officiated swim meets for summer league and USA Swimming. She also founded the Lilliput School at Bolling Air Force Base and was involved with the PTA at Machen Elementary School.
She enjoyed the arts and sports, followed politics closely, supported the military, and loved her country. Patricia was also known for helping others—especially people who needed support or direction. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
