Takako was born on March 8, 1929 in Tagawa City Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. She is survived by her sister, Tokuko Ikeda. Takako is preceded in death by her husband, John Apuzzie; her father, Usaku Imai; mother, Aki Imai; her older sister, Masako; and her two brothers, Kazutaka Imai and Yoshiaki Imai.
Takako met John while he was in Japan. They married in 1958 and moved from Japan to the U.S. Takako was introduced to the Truth by her mother-in-law, Alberta Creamer. Takako had such a great love for Jehovah and dedicated her life to Him in 1962. It was her love for Jehovah and his Purpose for Mankind that moved her to enter the Full Time Service as a Regular Pioneer; she remained a Full Time Pioneer for 45 years.
Takako will be greatly missed. She was so kind, loyal, faithful, thoughtful, caring, friendly, happy, and a dedicated servant of Jehovah. She had the "Best Life Ever" serving in Jehovah's Organization.
We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with Takako in Paradise, she is "just around the corner".
