Waltraut enjoyed playing bingo and loved working in her yard and flowers. Her yard was always the showplace of the neighborhood.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lee Jarrett; daughters, Angel Bartnikowski of York County and Marina Marshall of Gloucester; grandchildren, Shawn, Christina, Krystal, Meagan, and Madison; great-grandson, Christian; sisters, Erna Pons and Inga Sonntog of Germany; and best friend, Myra Thompson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Parklawn–Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 14 at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
