William Burnham Auman

Billy Auman, 67, passed away on Thursday, November 18th, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Billy had a passion for baseball and was a dedicated coach and manager for the Virginia Diamonds team for 17 years. He also coached at Woodside High School for the JV team and was heavily involved with Warwick Little League for over 25 years. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Auman and his brother, Clayton Auman. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Fran Auman; father, Bill Auman; brother, Bruce Auman; son, Will Auman (Megan); daughter, Beverly Auman; two grandchildren, Tripp Auman and Eleanore Auman; and a very close and dear family friend, Cindy Sigg. A celebration of Billy’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666.
