Bill retired as a master machinist from Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
He is survived by two children, William “Beau” Legare Brinkley III, Mona Lisa Winebarger and son in law Ray Winebarger. He was blessed with two granddaughters, Jessica Lynn Winebarger and Breanne Raye VanAlstine; two great grandsons, Zane Maddox Baugher, and Kayleb Knight Winebarger; brother James Brinkley of Indiana; and sister Faye Hester of Suffolk, Va.
The family will receive friends and family to celebrate Bill’s life at 318 Shoreline Drive, Hampton VA, Thursday evening, May 21 from 7pm – 9pm.
