Adria graduated from Will Reid High School in Long Beach, California, before proudly serving her country in the United States Air Force, where she achieved the rank of Sergeant. During her military service, she worked as an Aerospace Control and Warning System Operator, a role she held with great pride. Adria deeply cherished her time in the Air Force and carried that strong sense of dedication and service with her throughout her life.
Following her military service, Adria pursued a career in healthcare. She worked as a phlebotomist and laboratory technician at Hanford Community Hospital and Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon, continuing her lifelong commitment to caring for others.
Above all, Adria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love, kindness, and generosity knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandsons, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life.
Adria is survived by her daughter, Chrystal Thomas (Andrew) of Hanford; her sister, Cheryl Castellanos of Duarte, California; and her brother, Darryl Lander (Suzanne) of Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Devlynn Wickert (Chris), Julius Thomas (Andrea), Loraine Thomas, and Ryan Gomes, all of Hanford, as well as her cherished great-grandsons, Aidan, Paul, and Gabriel.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Jack Devlin, and her mother, Barbara Brumley.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice, especially Bryanne and April, whose love, patience, and gentle care meant more than words can express. The compassion they showed Adria brought comfort, peace, and reassurance during her final days and will forever be remembered by her family.
A celebration of Adria’s life will be held on February 6, 2026, at Calvary Cemetery in Hanford, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to lung cancer research.
“She is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.”
