Angie grew up in Watsonville and attended local schools. She worked at Happy Burro Market, Tropicana Foods, and retired from Borba Farms. It was there that she made many lifelong friendships. After meeting Angie for the first time and engaging in a conversation, you made a friend for life. When visiting Angie, she always welcomed you with a smile and you never left her home with an empty stomach. Angie would light up any room and was the life of the party.
Angie and her husband, Terry, moved to Hanford to be close to their daughter, Stephanie, and made their home on the beautiful Stairs Ranch which they called home with her adopted family (Lance and Lyndee Stairs) for over twenty years.
Angie was a hardworking woman and continued working as a private cook for Borba Farms office staff and doing concessions for barrel races and roping events, making her wonderful food that everybody loved so much.
Angie will be missed by the many friends she encountered both in Watsonville and Hanford. She had a very special bond with her grandsons, Gage Medico and Monty Evetts. She leaves her three children Sam and John Orozco, her daughter Stephanie and H P Evetts, sisters GraceTitle, Petra and Gary Castiglioni, Cynthia Medina, Lydia and Bill Gregg and brother David Medina, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Terry Beavers, mother Ida Fuentes, sister India Clunie, and brother Rick Medina.
A private visitation service will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at People’s Funeral Chapel in Hanford, CA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Watsonville, CA at the Dutra family home.
Donations can be made to the Salvation Army in honor of Angie Beavers.
