Blake was born on December 29,1989, to loving parents Roaul and Sabrina Rapozo. He was raised in Hanford, California, attending Monroe Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Junior High, and graduating from Hanford West High School in 2008.
Blake loved and excelled at sports growing up, especially baseball, football, and martial arts. He and his older sister Brooke were extremely competitive. They played little league baseball together and would often continue sparring long after karate class was over despite their parents’ telling them to stop. As a young boy, Blake loved to fish with his Poppa Bob and loved working in the shop with Papa Al.
Blake also shared a passion for hunting with his father. Every August, they would pack their camouflage gear, rifles and bows, and head to Shaver Lake in search of the perfect buck. Blake enjoyed the thrill of the hunt as much as he enjoyed sitting around the campfire telling stories and jokes with the many friends he made at Deer Camp.
Blake enjoyed spending time with family, whether it was at an amusement park, an afternoon fishing trip, riding motorcycles, or just relaxing at home. He shared a special relationship with his niece Harlee. From the minute she was born, she had his heart and he lived to make her smile and laugh. They enjoyed singing funny songs, dancing around, and playing video games.
Blake was extremely polite and a genuine friend. His jovial and loving personality will be missed the most. He could brighten a room with just one smile. He was always joking around and making people feel special. He gave the most genuine hugs and provided the best listening ear. He truly had a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone, even people that he did not know. He would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. His kindness and compassion will be missed by all who knew him.
Blake is survived by his parents, Roaul and Sabrina Rapozo, sisters, Brittany and Brooke Rapozo, his beautiful niece Harlee, grandmothers Emma Jean Evans and Anita Rapozo, aunts and uncles, Kimber and Scott Regan, Mike Rapozo, Alfred Rapozo, cousins Ryann Huddleston, Merissa Brieno, Michaela Regan, Michael Rapozo, Marina Mulverhill, Monica Regan, and Weston Rapozo, numerous friends, and his dog, Ginger. He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers Albert Rapozo, Bob Evans, John Denver Brown and Uncle Doug Rapozo.
