Bonnie Robinson

Bonnie was born to Claude & Elizabeth Martin on December 12, 1934 in Eufaula, OK and she passed away on January 23, 2016 in Hanford, CA.

Bonnie married James Wiley Brooks whom together they had their precious daughter, Peggi and later after his passing Bonnie then married Robert Ralph Robinson and they too shared the joy of a son, Robbie Robinson.

Bonnie worked for Carnation-Nestle Foods, now Del Monte Foods from 1976 until her retirement in 2000. During those years she made many dear acquaintances and lifelong friends. Bonnie was Chairwoman for the American Heart Association in Hanford, CA for many years. Bonnie had been a resident of Hanford for 46 years.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; Claude & Elizabeth Martin, beloved husbands; James Brooks & Robert Robinson and her siblings; Harvey Martin, Jessie O’Neal and Louise Bennett.

Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory her loving children; Peggi & Randy Yingling and Robbie Robinson both of Hanford along with her sister; Joyce & Bruce Nichols of Fresno, CA. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren; Christie Yingling of Fresno, Kelli Yingling of Hanford, Jackie Robinson and Joshua Robinson both of Lemoore along with her great-grandchildren; Victoria Hopper, Daniel Hopper, Regon Nichols and Natalie Nichols all of Clovis, CA and especially her nieces and nephews; Lorrie & Robert Hopper and Randy & Sarah Nichols all of Clovis, CA.

Bonnie will always be remembered for her sweet disposition, loving personality, her generosity and kindness. She will also be remembered for “her coffee”, the best in the Valley. Bonnie will be dearly missed by all…

A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Fresno, CA.

Services are under the direction of People’s Funeral Chapel.
