

Charles Gillum was the son of Ruby and Eddie Gillum. He was born in Cowden, Oklahoma. He was married to Nonie Gillum for 54 loving Years and he is now reunited with her in Heaven.
He is survived by his sister Pat Ike, brothers Ozzie and Eddie Gillum, and his son and daughter-in-law Shannon and Tracey Gillum and grandchildren Brenton, Sarah and Candace Gillum and great-grandchildren Brody, Rylee, Jackson, Tanner and Ryder.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked in the grocery business for 40 years. Charlie Gillum started trading from a little boy, which earned him the loving moto everything was for sale except for his Family. He was an honest businessman who was always eager to help people get a start, and always loved making a good trade. He was known and loved by many.
Charlie loved and served his Heavenly Father. He was a trustworthy, faithful and loving man who shined bright with God’s love for others. Charlie and Nonie made everyone feel like family which led him to be lovingly known as “uncle” Charlie too many.
He worked hard for his family and created a legacy for his son and his children and their children to be blessed by and proud of.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty St., Hanford. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Grangeville Cemetery; 10428 14th Ave., Armona, CA with a Celebration of Charlie’s Life following at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Bible Church; 707 W. Fargo Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.
