Charlotte Renee Richards

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Charlotte Renee Richards on October 30, 2024 at age 49. Her courageous battle with colon cancer is now done. She was taken too soon but her spirit lives on in all the lives she touched.

She was a long time resident of Hanford, CA and was born in Hanford on July 16, 1975. For a significant part of her childhood she was a resident of Beaumont, TX. She was a well known presence at Longs/CVS pharmacy where her career began at only 17 years old. She brought support and comfort to countless people in this role. She was an avid reader and could often be seen in the community getting in her steps. More than anything she loved her family and always made time for them. Camping with her family and friends was one of her greatest joys.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband Kendall Richards and her children Ashley Richards, Cecelia Richards, Troy Dorrington, Kendall Richards Jr and Kylee Richards. In addition she is survived by her mother Janet Dowdy and sisters Adrienne Duarte and Sonia Crites, numerous Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. She made sure we all knew we were loved. She is preceded in Death by her father Earl William Crites and son Kristopher Richards.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the health care workers who supported her in her fight against colon cancer and her coworkers at CVS who provided such loving support.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 30, 2024 at 1 PM. The Celebration of her beautiful life will take place at The Fleet located at 788 E. D street Lemoore, CA 93245.
