Christie Elizabeth Flautz

Christie graduated Hanford High School in 1991 then continued her educational journey by getting her Certified Nursing Assistant license. She also spent some time working in construction and was later a bartender at Adolfo's for a few years until Multiple Sclerosis decided to show its ugly head.

Her love for animals, especially her cat "BB", brought her endless comfort and happiness. She also loved to express herself through painting, leaving behind many beautiful creations.

Christie is survived by her son, Theodore L. Steele; Mother, Shirley Ann Joyner; Father, Ridge G. Flautz (Kathy); Brother, Ridge G. Flautz, Jr.; Sister, Ashley Norton; her partner, Mathew Proctor III; and numerous family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Melissa; Grandmother, Christine V. Pruitt; Grandparents, Ronald and Virginia Flautz; and many uncles and cousins.

Christie's resilience in the face of MS and her generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be laid to rest with her Grandmother, Christine Pruitt, in Hanford Cemetery at a later date.
