Christina Delgado Lopez

Christina Delgado Lopez, 63, passed away on February 23, 2018 at her home in Hanford, CA after her long battle with Leukemia. She was the widow of Michael H. Lopez “Gabby.” They shared 39 years of marriage together when he passed away.

Born in Goshen, CA, on May 14, 1954, she was the daughter of Luis Delgado & Delores Morales. Her last employment as known to most was the care she provided for her husband.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed her Bingo time with her husband & in-laws, taking trips & spending time with her family. She cherished her time with her grandchildren. She tried to make sure they each knew they were special to her and that she loved them. There were things mom wasn’t always too crazy about like camping and going on a boat but she did it to spend time with her kids. She enjoyed her individual ”us time” with her sister-in-laws and comadre Josie.

She is survived by her father Luis Delgado, brother Steven Delgado, Sister Robin Delgado, Children: Michael Lopez (Kat Trotta), Louie Lopez Sr. (Valerie Lopez), Ernie Lopez Sr. (Erin Lopez), Grandchildren: Annalisa Lopez (Luis Gonzalez), Michael Lopez (Amber French), Christina Patten (Andrew Patten), Luis Lopez Jr. (Angelica Rodriguez), Taylor Kubitz, Cheyenne Lopez, Melissa Lopez, Ernie Lopez Jr., Aleaya Trotta, Arianna Lopez, Chase Lopez, and Great-Grandchildren: Anayah, Xavier, Aubrey, Koda Lopez, and Luis Gonzalez. There were many in-laws, nieces, nephews that she cherished too. She is predeceased by her husband, Michael Lopez “Gabby”, mother, Delores Morales, brothers, Luis Delgado & Arturo Morales, and step-mother Trinidad Delgado.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. all at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA and a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church; 10435 Hanford-Armona Rd., Hanford with Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery; 11680 S. 10th Ave., Hanford, CA 93230.
